BLC Grezaffi's Blue 'Frank' x C Minerva 'Gran Wisteria' This is a hybrid with a large-classic bifoliate blue crossed with C Minerva (loddegesii x bowringiana). We are expecting tall bifoliate plants with large clusters of moderate sized flowers. The flowers should have heavy color saturation and great shape. FIVE 2" PLANTS, $25

C Atalanta alba 'Hawaii' (leopoldii x warscewiczii) C Atalanta is an old primary hybrid between C leopoldii and C warscewiczii. The normal color form is a medium lavender but this advanced remake uses both alba forms of the species thereby producing waxy light lime green flowers with a white lip. The flower stems have high flower counts and the plants will be robust growers. You will have quite a dazzling show when in bloom. THREE 3" PLANTS, $30

C Calummata (C aclandiae x C intermedia) is a primary hybrid. This cross, although recently remade with superior parents, is listed as an heirloom cross as it was originally registered in 1883! The plants are compact with upright bifoliate maroon-speckled foliage. The fragrant flowers are pink with red-violet spots and an ivory lip accented in lavender. The four inch flowers are well displayed above the foliage in heads of up to 5 flowers. FIVE 2" PLANTS, $25

C Capra coerulea x C intermedia coerulea 'Delft Flare' Cattleya Capra is a primary hybrid between Cattleya amethystoglossa and Cattleya labiata. It was originally made by the English firm of Charlesworth LTD in 1910. Here we have used the remade coerulea form which has regal stature, excellent color and substance. We have mated it with an advanced form of Cattleya intermedia aquinii coerulea. We expect moderate sized plants bearing heads of four to five 4” flowers with excellent color - about 50% should be splashed. All of this grex should have excellent lip color. FIVE 2" PLANTS, $25

C Fort Motte x C harrisoniae 'Royal Robe' This cross is a new spotted bifoliate cattleya. We anticipate easy summer blooming plants with heads of flowers. The flowers should have a fluorescent lavender base color with dark burgundy to black spotting. Should be very showy! Blooming and plant growth should be much improved over the Fort Motte parent. FIVE 2" PLANTS, $25

C intermedia (var amethystina 'Jewell's Blush' x var vino 'Marcella') This plant is a sib crossing of two unique species forms of Cattleya intermedia. The amethystina (suavissima) variety has flowers with a delicate pink blush to the lip while the vino variety has a dark wine colored lip. Both parents have stout 8” plants and display 3-5 four inch flowers in the spring. We are hoping some of the offspring will have the carnea color seen thus far only in Laelia purpurata. The flower picture is of the parent plant C intermedia v. vino ‘Marcella’. FIVE 2" PLANTS, $25

C Joan Landsberg coerulea x self This is a selfing of the hybrid between Cattleya Portia coerulea x Cattleya warneri coerulea originally registered in 1983. Our mother plant originates from the Carson Whitlow blue cattleya stud collection. The clear blue, well-shaped flowers have a darker lip highlighted by an intense yellow throat. Cattleya Joan Landsberg blooms twice a year. FIVE 2" PLANTS, $25

C leopoldii (‘Merkel’ x ‘Mendenhall’) Cattleya leopoldii ‘Merkel’ is a tall plant (3 foot) with 30 or more 4” flowers very nice shape, nice spotting, and nice carriage. ‘Mendenall’ has darker mahogany flowers with dark burgundy spots with a florescent lavender lip on a slightly smaller plant. Hopefully there will be some award winners in this cross. ALL will be extremely showy! FIVE 2" PLANTS, $25

C schilleriana (‘Jewell’s’ x ‘Anda’) is a Brazilian species that is famous for its long-lived waxy flowers which are a deep bronze with darker burgundy spots and a contrasting white lip heavily veined and blushed with deep purple. These are compact growing plants and under higher light the foliage can get quite red. This cross is line breeding with Cattleya schilleriana ‘Yardley’s’ AM/AOS as a grandparent on both sides. FIVE 2" PLANTS, $25

Encyclia dichroma is a wonderfully fragrant species from Brazil. The 1½” to 2” flowers are a showy two-tone of pink and dark pink purple. This is a medium-sized encyclia, and the flowers are produced on 2’ lightly branched spikes with clusters of gorgeous flowers in the late spring/early summer. These plants are a rare find commercially. FIVE 2" PLANTS, $30

ENC odoratissima x ENC aromatica We made this primary encyclia hybrid for two reasons. One hopefully the plant should produce extremely fragrant flowers and two for its floriferousness. Both species are some of the first encyclias to bloom late winter/spring. Hopefully we will have tons of flowers on heavily branched spikes while maintaining the tendency to bloom just above the foliage on the fairly compact plants. The flowers will be in the green to a brick color not necessarily the most flashy but certainly should be a very nice hybrid particularly for under light or windowsill growers. FIVE 2" PLANTS, $25

LC Amoena 'Blue Magic' AM/AOS x C Joan Landsberg coerulea This is a new blue cattleya hybrid between LC Amoena ‘Blue Magic’ AM/AOS x Cattleya Joan Landsberg coerulea. Joan Landsberg has four to five 5” flowers that are distinguished by their clear blue sepal and petal color and excellent shape. LC Amoena ‘Blue Magic’ will dominate this hybrid with the shape from its Laelia anceps parentage. We hope that many of the progeny will have the rounder shape and tepal color while still being displayed well above the foliage. FIVE 2" PLANTS, $25

LC Paola Matano (C Purity ‘ Whitlow’ x L lobata v coerulea ‘Maria Christina’) Cattleya Purity ‘Whitlow’ is an extremely nice coerulean form of this heirloom hybrid. The 6” flowers are a light blue with a nice uniform darker blue lip. Laelia lobata v coerulea ‘Maria Christina’ produces tall upright clusters of 4” medium blue flowers. We expect this hybrid to produce excellent quality unifoliate type flowers with high color saturation in the sepals and petals. FIVE 2" PLANTS, $25

LC Interceps coerulea (Cattleya intermedia aquinii coerulea x Laelia anceps coerulea ‘Fort Caroline’) This is a re-make of LC Interceps using an advanced form of Cattleya intermedia aquinii coerulea. These plants will be moderate sized, compact growers with three to five 4 inch flowers displayed above the foliage. As with most aquinii breeding, we expect about 50% of the seedlings to exhibit the desired blue flaring. FIVE 2" PLANTS, $25
