C. Wavrinii (C. lobata coerulea X C. walkeriana coerulea)
This is a primary hybrid named in 1907 is between the blue forms of two Brazilian species. C. lobata var. coerulea has petals and sepals with subtle blue coloring and a lip that has deep indigo veining. C. walkeriana var. coerulea is a compact plant that produces nearly solid light blue fragrant flowers with a slight touch of yellow in the lip near the column and some slightly darker blue striations in the lip. We are looking forward to the nice compact coeruleas this hybrid should produce.
(About 1-2 years from blooming size.)
