C. Whitei 'Anda' x Pittiae

Cattleya Whitei 'Anda' is our best of the Whitei plants we have in our stud collection. It is a primary hybrid between the blue forms of the Brazilian species blue form C. warneri and C. schilleriana and produces large, sweetly fragrant blue flowers with a fantastic schilleriana-type lip. Cattleya Pittiae is a beatuiful primary hybrid between the coerulea forms of C. loddigesii and C. schilleriana that has nice flat flowers and is freckled with deep blue spots. This is a highly anticipated cross around here, and we are looking forward to some fantastic coerulea flowers from this cross - they should have great substance, color, and hopefully some spots!
