C. Peckaviensis 'Red Spade' HCC/AOS x C. velutina

C. Peckaviensis 'Red Spade' HCC/AOS is a great compact primary hybrid between C. aclandiae and C. schilleriana. It produces 4" waxy flowers with dark burgundy spots and a brilliant magenta lip. C. velutina is species from Brazil with glossy flowers that are very attractive – the petals and sepals are bronze/yellow with brown spots and the lip has a wide-open central lobe and purple venation. The flowers are also extremely fragrant and have a heavy, waxy substance. The resulting hybrid should produce multiple fragrant flowers per inflorescence that are bronze with lots of spots and a wide lip with heavy fuchsia veining.
