Enc. Dave's Delectable Deliration 'Jewell's B'

This is a primary hybrid between two fantastic Encyclia species. Encyclia dichroma is a pretty rare Brazilian species that produces lightly branched 2’ spikes with clusters of gorgeous two-toned pink and dark pink-purple flowers. Encyclia phoenicea is a species native to Bahamas, Cayman Islands and Cuba. The fragrant flowers are long-lasting on tall spikes. The sepals and petals are dark chocolate/maroon narrowing at the tips highlighting a large lavender lip. The flowers are very fragrant of chocolate/vanilla. This plant produces lovely sprays of dusty rose-colored flowers that are fragrant!
