Laelia (Cattleya) purpurata is a species from Brazil and is one of our favorite summer-blooming species! The variety werkhauseri has large magnificent crystalline white flowers with a dark slate blue lip and a heavenly fragrance! The striata form has blue veining in the petals. This is a sib crossing between two of the werkhauserii striata forms.
