This is a Brazilian rupicolous species that has been a staple in our stud collection for decades. ‘Gemstone’ is noted for its full shaped large flowers. The star-shaped flowers are rosy lavender and can have 5 to 7 flowers on a spike. These plants are best grown in bright light, good air circulation and need a dryer rest period in the winter.
These plants are divisions of our stud plant.
