This is a selfing of an awarded clone of the primary hybrid between Myrmecophila (Schomburgkia) tibicinis and Cattleya bicolor. Clouds of 20+ flowers sit atop robust 4' spikes. The flowers have the distinct shape of the Myrmecophila parent but bigger in size. The color is a rich burgundy pink with a vibrant fuchsia lip. This is one amazing plant when in bloom! The plant available is a division of our stud plant.
