Broughtonia sanguinea var. alba

This is a white form of the Jamaican species that typically has "sanguine" (blood-red) colored flowers in its tipo form hence the species name sanguinea. The mid-sized plants will produces many blooms atop a tall upright inflorescense. We grow our stud Brougtonia sanguineas in hanging baskets and they seem to thrive this way as mature plants.

(About 2+ years from blooming size.)
