This is a primary hybrid between the coerulea forms of two Brazilian species. Both parent species produce heads of spotted, wonderfully waxy, heavy-substance flowers with blue lips. We are looking forward to some great bifoliate coeruleas out of this cross. (C. leopoldii is also known as C. tigrina.)
