This is a selfing of the awarded 'Maxima' clone that has 6” lilac-pink velvet textured flowers with broad ruffled lips that are amethyst with a yellow throat. It is as classic standard cattleya that was registered in 1938 between C. trianae x C. Woltersiana and still holds it's timeless beauty and award quality even in the modern day! We anticipate some very nice offspring from this selfing--hopefully some more award winners!
