Cattleya labiata var. coerulea is one of the better-known blue unifoliate cattleyas and has been used extensively in breeding. This is an outcross from two very select "mosca" forms of this species. Mosca is the Spanish word for fly, and this form has striations in the center of the lip that look like a fly. Flowers will be a very light pastel blue with a darker blue striated lip. Gorgeous!
