C. Pittiae var. coerulea

(C. loddigesii var. coerulea x C. schilleriana var. coerulea)

This is a primary hybrid between the blue forms of C. loddigesii and C. schilleriana. The hybrid plants have been coming out with a very unusal color of blue overlaid on a rose-blush base for the sepals and petals. The lip will be a bright blue indigo highlighted by yellow. Very unusual color and we love it! The flower picture is from one of our first-bloomed seedlings. This is a favorite in our blue collection!
