This is a remake of the C. Princess hybrid that was registered in 1899, this time using great coerulea clones. C. trianae is a species native to Colombia and is also its national flower! It has large 5-6" pale blue flowers with a darker lip and lemon-yellow throat. The awarded C. luddemanniana used in this hybrid has nearly 7" pastel blue flowers that have a darker blue lip with blue veining through the yellow throat. The offspring will have pale blue flowers with a darker blue lip and yellow in the throat.
