We are excited to see the result of this primary hybrid. C. schilleriana is a small Brazilian species that produces fragrant, waxy chocolate flowers with richly-colored spots. The lip is fabulous with striations of dark pink. Schomburgkia (Laelia) lueddemannii produces tall, upright spikes topped with a mass of shiny, mahogany, curled flowers.
