C. walkeriana var. coerulea x C. bowringiana var. coerulea

Cattleya walkeriana is a compact Brazilian species that has nearly solid light blue fragrant flowers with a slight touch of yellow in the lip near the column and some slightly darker blue striations in the lip. Cattleya (Guarianthe) bowringiana var. coerulea is a species native to Central America that blooms profusely in the fall with heads of up to thirty 3” baby blue flowers with a darker lip. We are looking for some lovely blues on nice compact plants with a substatially increased flower count over the C. walkeriana parent.
