( 'Meteor' x 'Alexander's Valley')

A species found in Columbia. This plant is synonymous with Cattleya gigas--meaning giant--which this species truly is, as it has the largest flowers of the cattleya species. The summer-blooming flowers can reach 12 inches across on tall spikes with up to 10 of these huge flowers per inflorescence. The two clones used in this sib crossing are fabulous lavender forms, and we are so excited to see the resulting stunners that are sure to impress!

(About 2 years from blooming size.)
