Cattleya Paola Matano var. coerulea

Cattleya Paola Mantano

Cross: C. Purity var. coerulea x C. lobata var. coerulea ‘Maria Christina’

Cattleya Purity ‘Whitlow’ is an extremely nice coerulea form of this heirloom hybrid. The 6” flowers are a light blue with a nice uniform darker blue lip. Cattleya lobata v coerulea ‘Maria Christina’ produces tall upright clusters of 4” medium blue flowers. This hybrid produces excellent quality unifoliate type flowers with 3-6 flowers for us on young plants which span 4-7 inches wide. They have a beautiful soft lavender (coerulea) coloration with a sweet fragrance.
