Species native to Central America. It produces numerous rich mahogany-colored flowers with a pastel pink lip on each spike. Plants are attractive out of bloom with the grass-like foliage and are very manageable under lights or in a windowsill. The compact growing plant can grow into beautiful specimen size fairly rapidly.
