Epidendrum conopseum (Epi. magnoliae) is a super miniature species that is very hardy and produces a number of "green fly" flowers. Laelia alaorii (Cattleya alaorii) is the smallest of the Brazilian hadrolaelia species. It produces a single light pastel flower on each inflorescence. The hybrid between these two species will maintain the miniature size of the plant and should add to the flower count with the Epi. conopseum influence. This plant will remain very small at maturity.
