Laelia lobata v coerulea ‘Maria Christina’ produces tall upright clusters of 4” medium blue flowers. Here we have it mated with Cattleya Whitei ‘Anda’ which is a primary hybrid between warneri and schilleriana. Whitei has subtle sepal and petal coloration but has a fantastic lip which is dominant in breeding. We expect this hybrid to produce excellent quality 6” unifoliate type flowers with high color saturation in the sepals and petals.
