(‘Gemstone’ x ‘Purple Jewell’)

Brazilian miniature rupicolous species. This plant is a sib cross between two of our most exceptional clones. ‘Gemstone’ is noted for its full shaped large flowers. The star-shaped flowers are rosy lavender and can have 5 to 7 flowers on a spike. ‘Purple Jewell’ has dark lavender colored flowers with as many as 10 flowers per spike. These plants are best grown in bright light, good air circulation and need a dryer rest period in the winter.
