This is a hard-to-come-by form of the Central American species. The compact plants produce long spikes that carry clusters of flowers at the end. The flower picture is of the “oculata” form, but the alba flowers are very similar with glistening white flowers and yellow in the throat (not the dark as in the oculata form).
