Rhyncattleanthe (Ctt. Rojo 'Barbara' HCC/AOS x Rlc. Love Sound 'Gold Country')

This is a primary hybrid between C. aurantiaca and L. milleri. It produces heads of red, star-shaped flowers and is an excellent parent, bringing the best of its color and shape to its progeny. Rlc. Love Sound is a hybrid between L. briegeri and Blc. Bouton D'Or. It is a compact Cattleya with wonderful, full yellow flowers and has been used extensively in breeding. The hybrid of these two should produce some really great art-shade flowers in the yellow-orange range on upright spikes. The flower picture is of Ctt. (LC.) Rojo + Rlc. (Blc.) Love Sound.
