Ludisia discolor

This terrestrial Asian orchid species is known as a "jewel orchid" that is grown primarily for its velvety variegated foliage but will also bloom with upright spikes with multiple while flowers in a "bottle brush" presentation. This is one of the best orchids to grow as a houseplant due to its desire for shady habitats and its year-round foliage interest. A must for any orchid or houseplant collection!
