Central American species. The 1½” flowers are chrome yellow with chocolate brown barring on the sepals and petals. The plant is noted for its branching spikes of flowers - sometimes as tall as 5 feet. When you see a mature plant in bloom you know why they call oncidiums the dancing ladies – thousands of dancers!!
